Getting Started at GoFit

New to GoFit? You’re in the right place. Whether you’re stepping into a gym for the first time or returning after a break, here’s what you need to know to get going with confidence.

Is GoFit beginner-friendly?

Yes, absolutely. Whether you’re taking your first step into fitness or getting back after a break, GoFit is designed for all levels. Our user-friendly gym layout, intuitive equipment, and welcoming environment make it easy to start and keep going.

Are the staff and trainers helpful?

Yes. Our staff and certified trainers are friendly, professional, and always ready to assist. Whether you need help using a machine, navigating the GoFit App, or setting fitness goals, we’ve got you covered.

Is GoFit suitable for women and solo gym-goers?

Definitely. Many women and first-time gym-goers say they feel safe and supported in our clean, well-lit, and non-intimidating spaces. GoFit is designed to be inclusive and empowering.

How do I sign up?

You can sign-up online – it’s quick and easy. Pick the GoFit Club that suits you best. Then, select the best membership plan for your lifestyle. Next, follow the prompts to enter your personal information and payment details. Once that’s complete, you’re good to go.

GoFit clubs are keyless, which means you do not need a membership card or keyfob to enter the gym. Simply download the GoFit app and proceed to log in with your details. Your membership QR code card to GoFit can be accessed via the app.

Are there hidden fees or contracts?

Nope. All plans are transparent with no annual fees. Choose between a monthly recurring membership (contract) or month-to-month membership.

What can I do with the GoFit App?

The GoFit App allows you to manage your membership, book group workouts (where available), access the gym with keyless entry, and track your fitness progress—all from your phone.

How do I access the gym with the app?

Once your membership is activated, simply open the app and scan your personal QR code at the entrance gate to enter.

I'm logging in for the first time. What do I do?

Follow these steps:

  1. Tap the Login icon on the homepage
  2. Select “Reset Password”
  3. Enter your email and tap “Reset Password”
  4. Check your inbox and follow the link and prompts to set a new password

What happens to the current GoFit app?

The current GoFit app will be discontinued on 14 July 2025 at 10:00pm and will no longer function. You’ll need to download the new GoFit Fitness app to continue booking classes and managing your membership. Please note that any past data, such as check-in history, will not be carried over.

What if I need help with the new app?

We’re here for you. Please see a staff member at your GoFit club during staffed hours, and they will be able to assist you with your query.

Gym Facilities & Equipment

What kind of equipment do you offer?

From strength machines and free weights to cardio gear and functional training tools, each GoFit club is equipped for all fitness styles. There are also areas for stretch and recovery, and for full-body conditioning.

Is the gym clean and well-maintained?

Cleanliness is one of our top priorities. Our facilities and equipment are regularly cleaned and sanitised to maintain a high standard of hygiene throughout the day. 

Are lockers and showers available?

Yes. All GoFit Singapore clubs include clean shower rooms and secure lockers. Please bring your own towel and padlock.

Do GoFit gyms have water dispensers?

Yes. Filtered water dispensers are available. Just bring your own bottle to refill and stay hydrated.

Is there space for stretching or mobility training?

Yes. Most clubs include a designated zone for stretching, foam rolling, and recovery exercises.

Does GoFit gym offer personal training?

Yes. Personal training is available at select GoFit locations. Our certified trainers can support a variety of goals, including fat loss, strength gains, rehabilitation, and sport-specific training.

How do I get started with personal training?

We recommend speaking to a club staff or trainer at your GoFit location to get started.

How much is personal training?

Prices vary depending on your trainer and package. Please speak to the club team for trainer profiles and current rates.

Is GoFit in SIngapore really open 24/7?

Yes! Most of our clubs in Singapore offer 24/7 access so you can train at your convenience, day or night.

Do all GoFit gyms have the same equipment?

All GoFit clubs share a consistent experience, but some may have additional equipment or features. Check each club’s webpage for location-specific detail

Do GoFit locations offer group classes?

Currently, GoFit is built on a self-guided, fuss-free gym model. Group classes are not part of the offering at most locations, allowing for a flexible and efficient workout experience. 

How do I find the nearest GoFit?

Can I access multiple GoFit locations?

Yes. If you’re on a Plus (excludes GoFit Geylang) or Plus X (includes GoFit Geylang) plan, you can access all participating GoFit gyms in Singapore.

Membership & Account

Managing your GoFit membership is easy and fully digital. Need help with your plan, billing, or upgrades? Here’s where you’ll find the answers.

What’s the difference between GOAL and FLEX plans?

  • GOAL: Contract plan (12 months), lowest monthly rate
  • FLEX: No contract (1 month), more flexibility

As an add-on, there is the option to upgrade your membership with a Plus or Plus X. These upgrades will enable access to multiple GoFit clubs across Singapore within your membership.

  • Add-on Plus: Access to all GoFit clubs in Singapore except GoFit Geylang
  • Add-on Plus X: Access to all GoFit clubs in Singapore including GoFit Geylang

What are the membership options?

We offer contract (Goal) and no-contract (Flex) plans. Both have Plus tiers for multi-location access. Check your desired GoFit club location page for full details.

Can I cancel my membership?

You can request cancellations through the GoFit App. Contract terms and notice periods apply, depending on your plan.

If you are unsure, please speak to a staff member at your GoFit club for details and assistance.

How do I update my billing or payment details?

Login to your member portal or GoFit App to edit your account and payment information.

How do I freeze my GoFit membership?

Yes, membership freezes are available. Before doing so, we strongly encourage you to speak to a GoFit staff to understand the terms, eligibility and details of freezing your membership.

We’ve got your back even when staff aren’t around. Here’s how to get help, report issues, and stay safe during every workout.

What if I need help when staff aren’t on-site?

Our support is digital-first. Use the GoFit App for assistance or check our help kiosks inside the gym. Emergency contacts are also displayed on-site.

What safety measures are in place?

Our gyms are equipped with CCTV surveillance, emergency buttons, and secure access systems to ensure a safe environment for all members.

Is there an age limit to join GoFit?

You must be at least 16 years old to join GoFit Singapore. Minors may require parental consent.
